About this demo

What the Systemone example site is for, and what Stage 1 does and doesn't include yet.

This is a standalone page — no dates, tags, or author card, per the design spec’s standalone-page recipe. It exists to exercise the theme’s prose typography at the standard 68ch reading measure.

Why this site exists

Systemone is built directly from a written design specification rather than from a moodboard. Every color, size, weight, tracking value, radius, and shadow in the theme traces back to that document, so this example site is deliberately plain: it is here to prove the type scale, the rules, and the geometry read correctly, not to demonstrate a finished editorial product.

What Stage 1 covers

Stage 1 ships the token sheet, base typography and layout, and the minimal templates needed to render a real site end to end: a home page, a section list, single posts and standalone pages, and a 404 page.

What comes later

Post cards, the table of contents, pagination, footnote styling, the full code/terminal component, admonitions, tables, forms, taxonomies, shortcodes, markdown render hooks, an image pipeline, the copy-button script, and the home-page edge ornaments are all later-stage work.
